I was invited to an amazing blogging event (more details on that later) and I needed to book travel. Southwest happened to be one of the airlines I looked at. One day they were having a sale and I got the best price I had seen in a few weeks...so I booked the trip. Now I'm a happy blogger. I'm excited about my trip. I'm continue to work on my upcoming craft show for tisa's creations and continue to get ready for the trip.
My craft show is over and 5 days before the conference Southwest runs another sale. So I check my flight to make sure the price isn't even lower....I see horror! Horror!!! My event is scheduled in San Diego, I booked my flight to San Jose! YES - SAN JOSE - that's a 7 hour drive from San Diego. WHAT!?!?!? I need to remind myself to breathe...again and again and again. And again!
Long story short -I called Southwest Airlines just to talk about my options and find the cheapest way to get to San Diego in less than 5 days. I called - the wait was just 4 minutes...ok, I'll take it. And the most wonderful person answered the phone...we reviewed my options and worked it all out. I was re-routed and the situation was fix. No, not for free, but for a lot less than I thought I was going to pay.
I honestly have a great experience each time I flight Southwest. Now I can say, when I need to speak with a customer service rep with Southwest it's also just as great!
Thanks Southwest! Great job - love your team.
