DIY Painted Stools

I've had this one stool for years from Ikea.  The Bekvam Step Stool.
We moved and now I'm having a hard time reaching cabinets in the kitchen, master closet and craft room.  For the last two months, I would just carry the one stool from room to room.  Well, we took a quick trip to Ikea and I picked up two more.  Looking for the same stool to carry from room to room wasn't something I was too interested in.

I grabbed a few bottles of DecoArt's Americana Decore Chalk Paint and got to work.  It was pretty easy and I finished painting all three stools in less than an hour.  I let them dry overnight and topped them all with DecoArt Americana Creme Wax

The great thing about this project...NO sanding wood before painting.  Be careful not to paint your hair - ha!
