New Kid on the Block Baby Card

Happy Thursday friends!  Today's post is special.  Creating handmade cards is still one of my most favorite things to do.  I have not shared a handmade card I created for my blog in years.  Guys!  I'm so excited.  I created a card and I wanted to share it with you.
To my surprise, I received happy mail from Derwent.  Who doesn't love to receive happy mail?  So happy when I came home to this wonderful Derwent Procolour Pencil set, they store perfectly in a metal tin, great when trying to keep everything organized.

When first seeing these pencils, knew I wanted to create something special.  It seems I attend lots of baby showers this time of year, and this baby card is perfect - for boy or girl.  It's easy to create, make one or several.  Let's start by sharing the list of supplies I used to complete this project.
Supplies:
Xyron Mega Runner
Stampin Up Card Stock Peekaboo Peach
Digital Stamp Set Baby Boo
Craft Smith Paper Pad - Weekday
White Ribbon
Pop Dots
Silver Glitter Paper
Derwent Pencils the following colors:
 - Gunsmoke 67
 - Brown Ochre 59
 - Distant Green 43
 - Primose Yello 02
 - Deep Chrome 09
Paper Cutter

1.  Print out the digital stamp set
2.  Color image using Derwent pencils
3.  Trim image with the paper cutter
4.  Measure and adhere glitter cardstock as image border using the Xyron Mega Runner

5.  Add background paper and ribbon to the base of the card
6.  Add pop dots to the back of the main image for dimension
And you're done!  I hope you enjoyed this project.  Lave a comment below letting me know, do you make one of each of your card designs or do you tend to create several of the same cards to have on hand for special occasions?
