Fun with American Crafts

Happy Tuesday!
We all know how much I love scrapbook paper.  To be honest, I think I might have a slight problem collecting scrapbook paper.  Wellllll, I actually do have a problem, there is really no question about it.  American Crafts is one of my favorite scrapbook paper companies.  They offer lots of paper lines, varying from, dots, lines, fun, colorful, bright papers to papers for baby scrapbooks, travel, graduations and family reunions.  You are sure to find something you love.

I'm so excited to team up with Xyron and American Crafts to bring you this project.  I created a gift bag using papers from the Dear Lizzy Stay Colorful line.  I'm so in love.

If you've been following me for a while you know I love quick projects.  I seem to have lots of balls in the air at the same time, yes some fall, I'm usually always last minute and always looking for something I can put together pretty quick.
Let's start with the list of supplies you will need:

Supplies:
Dear Lizzy Stay Colorful Scrapbook Paper and coordinating Thickers and Washi Tape Book
Xyron Creative Station
Coordinating Cardstock
Twine
Small Paper Punch
Plain White Gift Bag
Glue Gun
Paper Cutter

First thing, measure your gift bag
Trim two sheets of coordinating scrapbook paper to attach to each side of the bag
With the remaining scrapbook paper, used the paper punch to punch out 20-30 small circles.  I ran these circles through the Xyron Creative Maker, added them to twine to create a small banner for the front of the bag.
I also cut a couple of pieces of scrap paper and Thickers to create a small banner to add to the front of the bag.  Run all pieces through your Xyron Creative Maker and start to add all items to your bag.

Add a touch of hot glue to attach the twine to the bag for added support.
Add tissue paper and you're ready to add your special gift.  I love the way this project turned out.
Thank you so much for stopping by, leave a comment letting me know what your favorite American Crafts line.
