Back to School with Cricut

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

hi everybody!  It's been a great summer and sadly it's coming to an end.  Growing up I always loved long summer nights. And then shopping for school supplies and school clothes was also such a fun experience.

I'm sure, I'm telling my age, but my first memory of covering textbooks was maybe 2nd or 3rd grade.  We were so excited there were our books on your desks and then we would line up to select the covers we wanted to cover our books for the year.  I guess I've had a love for paper for a long time.  It took me forever to select the perfect cover for each book.  I think covering books all stopped for me a few years later.

My daughter is off to college again.  Purchasing or renting books is always the one thing we hate.  But I found a way to make these expensive, and most time overpriced books look great thanks for Cricut.

This project was so easy, let me show you how I quickly got these done.

Supplies:
Cricut Maker
Cricut Vinyl
Cricut Transfer Paper
Cricut Cutting Mat
Cricut Ruler
Cricut Precision Cutting Knife
Banner Paper Roll
Textbooks

1.  Measure your textbook and cut banner paper to size.

2.  Fold the banner paper to each of the textbooks
3.  Decorate with vinyl.  For the rainbow cover, I measured the book and used the Cricut Maker to cut 1.167-inch X 23.5-inch strips.  Covered the entire book cover and then simply added the letters.
I loved creating this project. I hope you are able to make your not so beautiful books colorful, and bright.  Having books that make you smile will make you want to always pick up that book and have it in hand.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you enjoyed this project as much as I have.
