Pantry Baskets with Cricut

Hi everyone!
You all know I'm so in love with my new home, well, it's not so new anymore.  We've been here going on two years.  And I'm still finding ways to keep it organized.  I've used my Cricut Air and Cricut Maker most all my organizational projects.  Today I wanted to so you how I created these pantry baskets, using my Cricut Maker, chipboard, paint and my trusty hot glue gun.

I store these baskets at the top and bottom of my pantry.  We are using chipboard and it will take the Maker just a bit a time to cut out all these letters, so let's get started.

Supplies

  • Cricut Maker with Knife Blade
  • Cricut Strong Grip Cutting Mat
  • Cricut Chipboard
  • Black Acrylic Paint
  • Foam Brush
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Painters Tape
  • Baskets

1.  Measure baskets and decide on the side of your letters
2.  Using a Strong Grip cutting mat, use painters tape to secure the chipboard to the mat.
3.  Cut, you will need to use the Kraft Knife to cut the chipboard
4.  Remove letters from mat and paint
5.  Let dry and adhere to baskets

Like I said, this does take a little bit of time, but your machine will do all the work for you.  Just a tip, please be sure your kraft knife isn't dull, you want crisp edges.  And please always handle the kraft knife or any of the cutting blades with care.

I hope you enjoy this project as much as I loved making it, I can't wait to show the complete pantry makeover soon.
