I wanted to share a project I shared on the Seven Thirty Three blog last summer.
I picked up just a few items to make lip gloss. Plus, who doesn't love JELLO
Materials
Jello (any flavor)
Lip Gloss Containers
Coconut Oil
Petroleum Jelly
Measuring Cups and Measuring Spoons
I scooped out the coconut oil and petroleum jelly and used a 1 to 1 ratio into a microwave safe bowl.
(We used 1/2 cup each, and it makes lots)
Then put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and then just mixed the mixture until almost smooth with a spoon.
(UPDATE...be sure jello has dissolved as much as possible - if not your lipgloss won't be completely smooth)
Then I used a separate bowl and measured out 4 teaspoons of the oil and jelly mixture and 1 teaspoon of the powdered jello. This amount fit my containers perfect.
Let them set up over night and you have lip gloss. Please note, these will not add color to your lips, they do however have a slight flavor. You can add more jello to make the flavor more intense.

Do you have a rough guess as to how many lip gloss containers you were able to make with one batch?
