Gifts Just Because

I have many people around who continue to inspire me and encourage me to do my best and sometimes convince me to do things I never thought I could do.  I'm always looking for small gifts just to say thank you.  I love stationery (yes,  I know, you are well aware) - I also love to give stationery as gifts.   I created this really quick gift and I wanted to show you how simple it is to create something special for the special people in your life.

Here are the supplies used:

Pencils (Traget Dollar Spot)
Printed Stationery - find similar from a previous post here
Ribbon
Small piece of twine
Alpha Stickers
Small Hand Saw
So I gathered my supplies and went to work.  I measured the tin container.  Then cut the pencils to 4 inches with a small hand saw.  I wrapped the pencils with twine.  I then took the stationery, cut to fit into the tin (my stationery measured 3.5 X 4 inches) and placed those in the tin.  Close the tin and add a ribbon, then decorate with a round tag and stickers.

Simple DIY Chipboard Coasters

I needed a really quick house warming gift.  I purchased a gift card for the couple.  But I also wanted to give them something handmade with a personal touch..  I thought chipboard coasters would be perfect. You can make lots of these for a small price.  These are disposable, so I made a stack of them.

Here are the things you will need to get started:
  - Round chipboard coasters (you can purchase here)
  - Vinyl
  - Electronic cutting machine

I wanted to use the words 'home sweet home'.  I just typed it out in my cutting machine software and then just used the fonts I liked most.  Simply cut it out and apply to coasters.  I added a great ribbon and I had an instant gift
