Tisa's Favorite Things: Pencils

Well, I guess I should be honest...I have a problem.  I can't really stop buying pencils.  I love them. I think I'm the only person at work (my full time job) that might still have an electric pencil sharpener. And yes, I'm also a pencil snob.  They all must be real wooden pencils with amazing erasers.  I also buy extra erasers just in case.  ha!

Today, I just wanted to share a little bit about myself.  Really, it's the small things that make me happy.
I also have a problems with journals, notepads and coffee mugs.  I will share more about those another time.

Have a great day.

I organized my bag!

I know, I know.
I'm not that person who holds up the line in the store to carefully organize my recipe in my purse before I leave the store - I'm the person who just throws it in my bag and I'm on to the next thing on my to do list.

and really I can take my bad being disorganized - but this is CRAZY.  I mean really crazy.
there comes a time when I can't even take it…I dumped my purse onto my desk and just started.

I wanted to share a before and after.  oh my, paper, paper every where.

and there you go.  do you feel better? I feel better.

31 days My Favorite Things: October 1, 2014: Yoga Necessities

I never (ever) thought I would love yoga…but I actually love it now that I'm running.  Or if I'm having a stressful day, I can do a couple of poses after work and it makes me feel so much better.  I'm looking to upgrade some of my yoga necessities…take a look of some of my most favorite things on my wish list.

1 year, 500 miles! whooohooo!

It's been one year and after this morning's run I've run, jogged and walked 501.41 miles. I remember putting peas on my knees because they hurt so bad and my small injury which made me stop running for 8 weeks and purchasing my first pair of real running shoes and running my first 10 miles and then my first half marathon. It's been crazy but so worth it. I have so many more miles to run and I'm looking forward to them all. Thank you to my running partner!  Without her I don't think I could have done this.  I know 500 miles isn't a lot to most of you, but I'm so super happy!
